What is AssetGuard™?

AssetGuard™ is a preventative roof maintenance program designed to help extend the life of your roof along with help investors and property managers catch small issues early, reduce emergency repairs, and better understand the long-term condition of their roof through routine inspections and maintenance.

Does AssetGuard™ Replace Roof Repairs or a Roof Replacement?

No. AssetGuard™ focuses on preventative maintenance and monitoring. If your roof requires repairs or replacement, those services are quoted separately. The goal of AssetGuard™ is to reduce surprises and extend the life of your roof whenever possible.

What Does Preventative Maintenance Include?

Preventative maintenance is performed during scheduled AssetGuard™ inspections and varies by plan level.

Essential does NOT include any preventative maintenance.

Included with Pro & Platinum:

Sealing roof penetrations

Sealing unsealed or lifted shingles as needed

Minor flashing adjustments (non-structural)

Debris checks and light clearance in problem areas

Gutter Cleaning

Preventative maintenance is intended to address minor issues early and does not include full repairs, structural corrections, or replacements.

How Often Will My Roof Be Inspected and Preventative Maintenance Occur?

Inspection frequency depends on your RoofCare™ plan:

Essential: Annual inspection

Pro: Bi-annual inspections

Platinum: Bi-annual inspections

Will I Receive Documentation After Inspections?

Yes. Every AssetGuard™ inspection includes photo documentation and a roof condition summary, so you can clearly see the current state of your roof and track changes over time.

What Happens If a Problem Is Found?

If we identify an issue during an inspection, we’ll explain what we see, outline recommended next steps, and provide repair options if needed. As a AssetGuard™ member, you also receive priority scheduling and member discounts on additional services.

Does AssetGuard™ Help with Insurance Claims?

AssetGuard™ documentation can be helpful for insurance conversations by providing dated photos and condition reports. However, AssetGuard™ does not guarantee claim approval and does not replace an insurance adjuster’s evaluation.

When Does My AssetGuard™ Coverage Start?

Coverage begins once payment is completed and your initial inspection is scheduled. We typically recommend doing inspections in the early spring or late fall before, but can schedule based on your needs if you would prefer something different.
